Vice-Dean’s Message

The establishment of new university towns in different areas and governorates of the kingdom contributes effectively to achieving a balanced and continuous development in all parts of the kingdom, mainly through the investment of national human resources. Such projects are given the highest importance by the decision- makers of this honorable nation. They offer support and continuously follow up on the development of these new university towns which help the economy and development of the nation, as well as contributing to achieving the internal integration of the system of community development.
King AbdulAziz University campus in Rabigh is one of these university town projects that have received great support from our wise leaders, and from the minister of higher education and His Excellency, Prof. Osama Ben Sadiq Tayeb, the University president, who supported this distinguished and pioneering educational initiative.
The faculty of arts and humanities at King Abdulaziz University Rabigh campus was established in 1431/1430 AH to help provide university students with essential knowledge and sciences. It also extends its educational services to the students who are enrolled in its various programs to enable them to earn academic degrees once they have completed the programs’ requirements.
The faculty of arts and humanities with all its faculty members and staff seeks to apply the best practices to achieve a high standard of education and to meet the criteria for creating outstanding results and qualified cadres for the labor market. In addition, it harnesses all its research and scientific capabilities for the benefit of society, and to participate in achieving integration between all governmental and private sectors.
The weapon of knowledge and science is the most powerful weapon today. Nations only progress through knowledge and science. As such, we seek to provide you with the necessary tools, sciences and knowledge that can help you to be qualified citizens to support and reinforce the comprehensive renaissance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing.
Dear students,
As Muslims, we are different from others in the way we hope to satisfy Allah through all the knowledge we acquire to be good members of society and to be rewarded by Him. If a learner seeks the blessing of Allah from the knowledge he acquires, he will find all obstacles easy to overcome. One of our great ancestors, God bless him, once said: “I like to have an intention for everything, even with regard to my food and drink.” How beautiful it is to have a learner keen on gaining useful knowledge to benefit his nation, to participate in its progress and prosperity and to deserve the blessing of Allah. This intention will make easy any obstacles he may face; because whoever seeks the satisfaction of Allah will not care for any obstacles.
Dear students, your nation hopes that you work hard to help building your communities for the sake of the Islamic Nation. Finally, I will remind you of Allah's words: "And fear Allah. And Allah teaches you. And Allah knows all things" (Surat Al-Baqarah--The Cow).
